OBITUARY
KEATING, STEPHEN P. Retired Denver firefighter, 97 Stephen P. Keating, Denver’s oldest fireman died on Sunday at the Garden at St. Elizabeth, his residence. He was preceded in death by his wives Lelah and Mae; his sister Mary and brother Eddie. He is survived by his brother Joseph of Denver; a step-daughter-in-law Janice O’Toole of Tigard, OR, her two children Margaret O’Toole and Carrie McCarthy; and a God child Patricia Melancon of Denver. Funeral mass will be Wednesday 10:45 a.m. in the Chapel at Garden at St. Elizabeth, 2835 W. 32nd Ave., Denver. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. James Catholic School Scholarship Fund, 1314 Newport St., Denver 80220.
