Ronald H. “Ron” Keating

Keating Ronald H. “Ron” Keating, Edina, MN, passed away September 23rd following complications from recent surgery. He was born in Tolna, ND and graduated from the University of ND. He was affiliated with the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and was a member of the UND baseball team. He joined 3M in 1963 and retired in 1995. He was an avid golfer and sportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and sports of any nature. He was involved with Edina Youth Athletics and coached hockey and baseball for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife, Jean, of 42 years; daughter, Rhonda (Troy) Brown; sons, Mark (Amy) and Steve (Terry) and four grandsons, Tyler and Ryan Brown and Owen and Carson Keating, all of the Minneapolis area. He was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Ruth Keating and son, Wade. Memorial Service will be held Friday, Sept. 30th at 11 AM at Normandale Lutheran Church, 6100 Normandale Road, Edina, MN 55436. Memorial donations may be made to Normandale Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
