William J. Keating
Lonaconing–William J. Keating, 68, of here, died this morning in Miners Hospital
A native of Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Dugan) Keating. His wife was the late Mrs. Lena (Hadley) Keating.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Paul Byrne, Lonaconing; one son, William Keating, Cumberland; one grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. John Tischler, Cleveland, and Mrs. William Walsh, Euclid, Ohio.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the church’s Holy Name Society. Mr. Keating was a veteran of World War I and was a member of James P. Love Post, American Legion.
Requiem mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a. m. in St. Mary’s Church by Rev. Frederick Duke, the pastor. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. and from 2 to 4 p. m. tomorrow.
The Rosary will be recited atthe funeral home tomorrow at 8:30 p. m.
