Edward P. Keating, Sr.

Danbury, Feb. 18–Services for Edward P. Keating, Sr., 76, of 55 West Wooster street, a retired hatter, who died Friday in his home, took place today in St. Peter’s church, with a high Mass of requiem. Burial was in St. Peter’s cemetery.

Mr. Keating, a native of Ireland, came to this country as a young man and lived in Danbury 50 years. He retired two years ago.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Julia Kirwin Keating; two sons, Patrolman Edward Keating, Jr., of Danbury and Thomas Keating of Atlantic City, N. J.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Daubert, Sr., R. N., Mrs. Edwin Jensen and Mrs. Robert Barton, all of Danbury; three brothers, Patrick Keating, of Auburn, N. Y., and Thomas and John Keating, both of Ireland; a sister, Sister Mary Cecelia of Cambridge, England; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
