Representative and Mrs. Edward Keating have returned from Washington, Pa., where they have went to attend the funeral of Mrs. Keating’s mother, Mrs. Caroline M. Sloan. Mrs. Sloan spent the winters with Representative and Mrs. Keating ever since the former was elected to Congress, until last winter, when she seemed not strong enough to stand the journey. She was remarkably active and bright, considering her advanced age, and had made many friends in Washington.
