A Drunken Wife Killer

New York, May 5.

Patrick Keating, a bod carrier, was arrested to-day for beating his wife to death. When the police arrived he was in bed drunk, lying on the head of the dead woman.

A bod carrier, to the best of my sleuthing abilities, was someone who carried supplies for brick-layers.
