Miss Margaret M. “Rita” Keating, 77, of 100 W. Woodland Ave., Penndel, died yesterday in Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, after a long illness.

Born in Philadelphia, she lived most of her life in Penndel and was a retired bookkeeper. She had served on the Penndel Borough Board of Auditors.

Miss Keating was a member of the Jesse W. Soby American Legion Post Auxiliary of Langhorne, Chapeau Passe of the 8 and 40 Salon 74 of Bucks County; Penndel Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Our Lady of Grace Lodge 1747, Catholic Daughters  of America, and soladity of the B. V. M. of Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Penndel.

Surviving are two sisters, Catherine I. of Penndel, and Mary F. of Washington D.C. and a brother, Pierre of Penndel.

Services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cornwells Heights.

Friends may call tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
