Damage Suit Against Macdonald Withdrawn
New London, Sept. 20 – (By Associated Press) After hearing six witnesses in the $8,000 damage suit brought against State Highway Commissioner John A. Macdonald by John S. Keating, administrator of the estate of the late James E. Keating of Norwich. Attorneys Arthur M. Brown and Charles V. James for the plaintiff announced to Judge Allyn L. Brown in the Superior court that they would withdraw the action. No defense witnesses were heard. The plaintiff claimed that James E. Keating died in an automobile accident that as the result of an oily and slippery highway on Crocker Hill at Lebanon on the afternoon of November 8, 1925.
