I’ve started going through a backlog of news articles (obituaries, births, marriages, etc.). I’ll try to keep it to a few articles a day to keep from overwhelming. (And also because I’m adding them a few at a time between other tasks.)
For family members wondering whether they’re related to the people in the post, I’ll usually indicate if they are related or if they may be related. The default is unrelated, but I’ve occasionally found families I later determined were related. You can see whether they’re related on the web page for the post (not the emails or my Mastodon shares.)
