My family came from Barnaboy as well. I always had an unsubstantiated hunch that Micheal senior may have been the brother of my GGGrandfather, Peter (and his siblings Edward, Margaret, John, et al). His dad was Matthew and Mom was Margaret (Handibo). Micheal Sr died in Barnaboy in September 1894. If any of this strikes a cord, please come back — I have lots of detail on Peter’s family.
