Mrs. Leona Belle (Nine) Keating, 48, of 525 Dilley Street, died this morning in Sacred Heart Hospital.

She was the wife of James Francis Keating and was born September 13, 1914, at Pierce, W. Va., the daughter of Mrs. Agnes (Brown) Nine, this city, and the late Charles Nine.

Mrs. Keating was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, of the Christian Mothers and Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, of that parish, and belonged to Court Cardinal Gibbons, Catholic Daughters of America.

Besides her widower, she is survived by a son, James, and a daughter, Marlene, both at home; six brothers, William C. Nine, Conneaut, Ohio; Norval Nine, Cecil Nine and Raymond Nine, all of Baltimore; Melvin Nine, Rhode Island, and Kenneth Nine, Broughton, Pa.; and four sisters, Miss Jennie NIne, Lonaconing; Mrs. Agnes Kenney, New York; Mrs. Edwin Clark, Bel Air; and Mrs. Violet Johnson, Baltimore.

The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where the Rosary will be celebrated Thursday in SS. Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
