VOTE FOR 18-YEAR-OLDS

WASHINGTON, May 27 (AP) – Rep. Keating (R-NY), asserting he was following the lead of the Eisenhower administration, today introduced a resolution to grant 18-year olds the right to vote.

The Keating proposal to lower the voting age from 21 is in the form of a constitutional amendment, subject to ratification by three-fourths of the states.
