Obituary – Wilbert Lyle “Willy” Keating (1932 – 2006)

KEATING, Wilbert Lyle July 28, 1932 – December 16, 2006 Willy will be lovingly remembered by his children Timothy, Michele, Paul (Lorelei), Catherine (Bruce), and one son-in-law Brody; eight grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters: Arnal (Blanche), Gordon (Shirley), Edna, and Eileen (Ernest). He is predeceased by his wife Eva, brother Fred, and daughter Teresa. Willy’s life work was mostly in electronics, he joined the armed forces as a radio operator and over time became a electronics technician. After the armed forces he worked at CN as a communications technician. Willy was able to travel a large part of the world in the armed forces, he was stationed in numerous places in Canada, USA, and Germany. Willy was a devoted volunteer for the Royal Can Legion, and his loves were hunting, fishing, pool, and darts. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gibbons. Donations may be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.   2. I knew willy when we were both stationed at RCAF stn. flin flon mb
    we were in the flin flon boxing club together and we hunted together in the area.I googled his name only to find he was deceased
