     Eleanor DeVilbiss was born on 6 April 1799 at Frederick County, Maryland, USA.3,1,4 She was the daughter of John DeVilbiss and Rebecca Elder.2 Eleanor DeVilbiss married John Hobbs, son of Charles Exlam Hobbs and Elizabeth Ogle, on 30 June 1822.1,5 Eleanor DeVilbiss died on 11 February 1888 at Frederick County, Maryland, USA, at age 88.1,6 She was buried at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Emmitsburg, Frederick County, Maryland, USA.6
